Pune/ Chh. Sambhajinagar, August 20th, 2025 : K.R.A. Jewellers, a renowned goldsmith in Pune with an esteemed legacy of 88 years, has now expanded its presence to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The grand inauguration of their 3000 square feet sprawling showroom was held recently. K.R.A. Jewellers' director, Atul Ashtekar, announced that the showroom, spread over 3,000 square feet, is now open for business. The showroom is located at Sector N3, CIDCO, near Jayhind Collection, opposite Hotel Ramgiri, Jalna Road, and is now serving the people of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. K.R.A. Jewellers' showroom was inaugurated by Krishnakant Rajaram Ashtekar and his wife, Radhika Krishnakant Ashtekar.

Atul Ashtekar said that KRA Jewellers' journey from Ashti Dhotar Joda, a prominent village in the Partur taluka of Jalna district, to the Pune market, has been a multi-generational one, rich in experience

He further added that, "Our village, with its Yadav-era history, was famous for its textiles. We used to weave dhotis that could fit into a matchbox. During the British era, when they forced us to grow indigo, cotton production declined, and our ancestors started their traditional jewelry business in the market outside Shaniwar Wada in Pune. Our jewelry was renowned for its purity and quality, and even the Peshwas of Pune would buy gold ornaments from us. In 1937, my grandfather, Rajaram Ashtekar, and later my father, Krishnakant Ashtekar, established KRA Jewellers in Pune. Today, we have 12 grand showrooms in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Additionally, my father Krishnakant Ashtekar has been nurturing over 300 Gir cows in our native village. He has also authored books, including the Dnyneshwari in Marathwadi Hindi, Prakrut Marathi Dnyaneswari, and the Shri Dnyaneshwar Charitra in Hindi." Atul Ashtekar said, "While our connection with Pune has grown stronger over generations, our bond with Marathwada has remained deeply rooted in each of our generations. After Pune, our desire to reconnect with our roots in Marathwada brought us to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where we are now serving our customers with our grand showroom, traditional jewelry business, and innovative designs."

He added, "Our customers in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar will experience a blend of trust, quality, innovation, and modernity at our spacious showroom. Along with traditional jewelry, our specialty lies in temple jewelry and antique jewelry, including a unique bridal collection. We are excited to announce that for the very first time, we have introduced a special bridal lounge at our Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar showroom, Where customers can also explore a wide range of designs and types of large mangalsutras, necklaces, bangles, and more."

Atul Ashtekar added, "For the younger generation, our NYASA collection offers a range of jewelry pieces made from 18 and 22-karat gold, priced between ₹10,000 and ₹50,000. These pieces start from as little as 1.5 grams and include everyday wear items like rings, chains, pendant sets, small mangalsutras, color stones, American diamond jewelry, earrings, and bracelets.
