Role: EA to Chairman (Location: Chennai)

  • Designation: Executive Assistant to Chairman
  • Location: T. Nagar, Chennai
  • Experience: 3-5 years in the same profile, preferably a male candidate
  • On contract for 2 years. Can be absorbed based upon the performance
  • Industry: Preferably from any retail industry


To provide Administrative and Secretarial support to the HOD;

  • To prepare and/or draft correspondence for the Chairman
  • Ensure reports, business papers and correspondence are dealt efficiently and promptly
  • To filter incoming emails: sorting, redirecting and taking action as appropriate
  • To carry out a range of administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, sending faxes, making travel arrangements
  • To manage electronic and paper based filing systems
  • To work cooperatively with colleagues in the Operations, Administration team providing support and cover as required.
  • To organize internal and external meetings and teleconferences, including booking venues, arranging accommodation and taking minutes as required.
  • To prepare agendas for meetings, ensure papers are accurate and prepared and disseminated on time.
  • Preparing necessary documents and presentations.
  • Must be ready and able to travel as and when required with the Chairman

Other Skills:

  • Should be able to read and speak Hindi
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to draft own correspondence.
  • An organized and thorough approach to work.
  • Proficiency in English and Tamil. Ability to communicate both orally and in written.
  • Ability to work on own initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and at times conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on a wide range of tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ready for travelling as and when needed.
