Industry Leaders Appreciated the Transformative Learnings from GemLead, the IIMA–GJC Executive Masterclass.

Ahmedabad: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), India’s premier management institute, and the All-India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), the apex representative body of jewellers, launched a pioneering initiative – “GemLead”, Gems & Jewellery Executive Masterclass on Leadership, Excellence and Advanced Development.”

Exclusively designed for GJC members, the landmark programme empowered leaders from the gems and jewellery industry with world-class management insights, leadership skills, and strategic capabilities. The three-day residential programme, held from 5th to 7th September 2025 at the IIMA campus, offered a transformational learning journey crafted to help industry professionals apply advanced management techniques to navigate challenges and build resilient businesses.

The initiative received an overwhelming response, with a waiting list of over 40 participants within just seven days of its announcement.

Over the course of 12 high-impact sessions, participants explored cutting-edge topics such as the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business processes, strategies for professionalising family-owned enterprises, and approaches to building sustainable and scalable organisations. The curriculum also incorporated insights from neuromarketing and behavioural science to decode consumer psychology. A guest lecture by a senior representative of the Reserve Bank of India provided macroeconomic perspectives, enriching participants with a holistic view of the industry’s evolving landscape.
