The Bride's Pride (Gold Bridal Jewellery of the Year)

  • The jewellery pieces submitted under this category must be made primarily of gold with or without  colored gemstones & can be of various gold colors and combined weight should be above 200 gms in 14kt/18kt/22kt gold
  • The Jewellery can be of traditional type or contemporary style
  • The Jewellery set submitted under this category must have minimum of 3 pieces of ornaments in any combination (e.g. necklace with pair of earrings or waistband with a pair of earrings, etc.) and should be of the same theme/ design
  • All the Jewellery pieces submitted under this category must be wearable in nature by brides as part of the bridal attire
  • The participant should only submit picture of the Jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the category
  • The name/logo/initials of the brand/store or name of any key person related to the brand should not be mentioned on the jewellery design or description while applying for the awards. Such entries found will be disqualified from the awards

The Bride's Pride (Diamond Bridal Jewellery of the Year)

  • The Jewellery pieces submitted under this category must be majorly made of diamond either in gold of 14kt /18kt /22kt or platinum. The piece should consist of minimum 20kt real diamond
  • The Jewellery piece can include, colored gemstones or uncut diamonds in gold or platinum
  • The Jewellery can be of traditional type or ethno-contemporary style
  • The Jewellery set submitted under this category must have minimum of 3 pieces of ornaments in any combination (e.g. necklace with pair of earrings or waistband with a pair of earrings) and should be of the same theme/ design
  • All the Jewellery pieces must be wearable in nature by brides as part of the bridal attire
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery set. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the respective category
  • The name/logo/initials of the brand/store or name of any key person related to the brand should not be mentioned on the jewellery design or description while applying for the awards. Such entries found will be disqualified from the awards

The Bride's Pride (Jadau Bridal Jewellery of the Year)

  • The jewellery pieces submitted under this category must be made primarily of gold with or without enameling and major elements consisting of kundan, uncut diamond, polki with or without colored gemstones and combined weight should be above 200 gms in 14kt/18kt/22kt gold. 
  • The Jewellery can be of traditional type or ethno-contemporary style
  • The Jewellery set submitted under this category must have minimum of 3 pieces of ornaments in any combination (e.g. necklace with pair of earrings or waistband with a pair of earrings) and should be of the same theme/ design
  • All the Jewellery pieces submitted under this category should be wearable in nature by brides as part of the bridal attire 
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery set. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply  in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design

Couture Jewellery of the Year (Gold or Diamond)

  • The jewellery set submitted under this category can be made of gold in various colors with or without enameling, colored gemstones or can be made of real diamond in gold of 14kt/18kt/22kt only with/without the use of kundan or stones
  • The Jewellery piece can be of modern type or contemporary design and should be party wear
  • The Jewellery set submitted under this category must have minimum 3 pieces of ornaments (e.g. necklace with pair of earrings, ring and bracelet with pair of earrings etc.) and should be of the same theme/design
  • All the Jewellery submitted for this award category should be wearable in nature and represent party wear jewellery designs
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the respective category

The New - Age Women's Jewellery (9 to 5 Jewellery - Gold or Diamond)

  • The jewellery piece submitted must be elegant and comfortable that can be worn by women in their day to day endeavors
  • The Jewellery piece submitted should be suitable for modern /traditional women who is stylist and prefer wearing lighter piece of jewellery
  • The Jewellery piece submitted under this category should be primarily made of gold with or without enameling, colored gemstones and can be of various gold colors or made of diamond in gold of 14kt/18kt /22kt only
  • The Jewellery piece submitted for the awards should be of up to 30 gms. In case of multiple pieces submitted with same theme/ design each jewellery piece should be up to 30 gms
  • All design of the jewellery sets submitted, if any, (any combination i.e. chains with/without pendent, a pair of earrings, ring, kangans, mangalsutra etc.) should be of the same theme/design
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design

Paramparik Jewellery - An artisan's pride

  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category must be made of gold (14kt/18kt /22kt) with uncut diamonds, kundan, meenakari and colored gemstones and must have an essence of Indian heritage and ethnicity
  • The designs should be inspired from or symbolic of a bygone era – (Mughal, Victorian, Rajputana, etc.)
  • It should have an essence of timeless elegance – an heirloom piece which can be passed down generations
  • The Jewellery set/pieces should be wearable in nature (for e.g. bangle/ kangans/ bracelet/ rings/ earring/ , necklace or necklace set (including earrings), kangans,  arm and waist bands etc.) are eligible to apply under this category
  • All design of the jewellery pieces/set submitted, if any, should be of the same theme/design
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design

Platinum Jewellery of the Year

  • The Jewellery piece submitted under this category should be primarily made of platinum studded with or without diamond or colored gemstones
  • All design of the jewellery piece/set submitted, if any, should be of the same theme/design
  • The pieces submitted should be aesthetically appealing and practically wearable in nature and should have an impressive finish and craftsmanship
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the respective category

  • The jewellery submitted under this category should be primarily made in gold (14kt/ 18kt/22kt) with colored gemstones, uncut diamond, beads and pearls with or without enameling. The overall look of the jewellery should be primarily of colored gemstone
  • All the Jewellery submitted under this category should be wearable in nature
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category provided they submit the different theme/design.

  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category should be primarily made of pearl in gold(14kt/18kt/22kt) or diamond. The overall look of the jewellery should be of pearls
  • The jewellery piece can be of traditional or modern contemporary style
  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category should be of same theme/design
  • The jewellery design should have creative use of pearls and should be wearable in nature
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design

  • The Jewellery piece submitted under this category should be primarily made with CZ or Swarovski crystal in gold (14kt/18kt /22kt) or platinum
  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category should be of contemporary design
  • All design of the jewellery set/pieces submitted, should be of the same theme/design
  • The jewellery design submitted for the awards should be wearable in nature
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design

  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category should be made primarily of gold (14kt/18kt/22kt) or diamonds in gold
  • The jewellery piece submitted can be of various gold colors with or without enameling and colored gemstones
  • The jewellery pieces submitted under this category should be either a bracelet or a Kada/ pair of bangles and should be of the same theme/design
  • The jewellery submitted under this category should be wearable in nature
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design

  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category should be a pair of earrings with same theme/design and should be wearable in nature.

  • The jewellery piece submitted under this category must be made of gold or platinum, with or without enameling, colored gemstones, diamond, pearls, coral, beads
  • The jewellery design should be women jewellery and should have remarkable design
  • Only one Jewellery piece/ pair of ornament can be submitted under this category
  • The jewellery should be an accessory and used for styling or fashion but should be wearable in nature
  • The participant should only submit picture of the Jewellery. The sketches of the design/ CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the      
    different theme/design.
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for

All Eyes on HIM (Men's Jewellery of the Year)

  • The jewellery piece participating under this category must be specifically designed for men
  • The jewellery can be made of gold, platinum and colored gemstones, diamonds, uncut diamond. Other materials such as rubber, leather and ceramics can be used to enhance the look of the product
  • The jewellery design submitted must complement the fashion sensibilities of the present day’s Indian men
  • The Jewellery piece submitted under this category can be chain, pendant, necklace, ring, bracelet, kada, brooch, belts, cufflinks, tie-pin, studs, etc.
  • Jewellery piece can be stylish or fashionable but must be wearable in nature. The jewellery piece participating under this category shouldn’t be an article jewellery
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/ CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the
    different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the respective category

Sterling Silver Jewellery (Silver Jewellery of the Year)

  • The jewellery pieces submitted under this category must be made in 92.5 sterling silver and above only, primarily made of silver with or without enameling,  colored gemstones, diamond, pearls, coral, beads
  • Maximum 3 pieces of jewellery can be submitted under this category. The jewellery piece submitted should be of the same theme/design.
  • The Jewellery can be of any styling or fashion but should be wearable in nature
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery. The sketches of the design/ CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the respective category
  • The name/logo/initials of the brand/store or name of any key person related to the brand should not be mentioned on the jewellery design or description while applying for the awards. Such entries found will be disqualified from the awards

Sterling Silver Artefacts

  • The pieces submitted under this category must be made in purely 92.5 sterling silver
  • The article should be non-wearable in nature
  • The article design under this category can be utensils, idols, kitchenware and decorative items
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery design. The sketches of the design/ CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design
  • In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the respective category
  • The name/logo/initials of the brand/store or name of any key person related to the brand should not be mentioned on the jewellery design or description while applying for the awards. Such entries found will be disqualified from the awards

Eligibility criteria

  • Please fill a separate form for each Jewellery piece/pair/set submitted as per category requirement.
  • The Jewellery should be 100% manufactured in India to participate in the National Jewellery Awards 2021
  • Designs/Jewellery which is manufactured in the period between January 01, 2020 to March 31, 2021 can participate in the awards. Entries that do not comply with any of these rules will be disqualified
  • The participant should only submit picture of the jewellery piece. The sketches of the design/CAD images will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the awards. The picture of the jewellery design submitted should be in high resolution
  • The participant can apply in the same category with multiple designs provided they submit the different theme/design. In case of multiple entries submitted with the same design, only one entry will be considered for the category
  • One Jewellery piece/ set/ pair/ design can participate in one category only. In case jury comes across same design submitted in multiple categories as a finalist only one entry will be considered for the grand jury round based on their discretion
  • Winners & finalists of past three editions of NJA, wherever applicable, cannot participate with the same design submitted in the previous editions
  • The finalist determined in the Jewellery Award segment must provide self-declaration form stating the quality of the jewellery piece submitted for the awards. The draft document will be shared by the audit team post the announcement of the same. They may also choose to submit a hallmark certificate however it is not a mandatory document
  • In case the information provided in the declaration is found to be untrue, the entry will stand disqualified and the participant will be blacklisted from the NJA awards subject to the management’s discretion
  • Finalist for each category under Jewellery segment will undergo a lab test organized by NJA committee in order to certify the genuineness of the piece. The finalist shall have an option to submit an existing certificate authenticating the genuineness of the jewellery piece. The cost incurred for the lab test shall be borne by the finalists
  • On completion of the application, the participant must sign off the Declaration. Unauthorized forms can be disqualified based on the Awards management discretion
