NJA 2024 - Terms & Conditions

    • The Jewellery Fraternity (The Jewellery fraternities include Retailers, Wholesalers, Manufacturers, e-commerce entry, Designers and Gold smiths.) across India can apply for the National Jewellery Awards 2024
    • The Jewellery must be 100% manufactured in India to participate in the National Jewellery Awards 2024
    • Designs/Jewellery, which is manufactured post September 01, 2023, can participate in the awards. Entries that do not comply with any of these rules will be disqualified
    • “Winners and finalists of the previous edition cannot participate in the Awards with the same jewellery piece/ set”
    • last one year i.e. from September 01, 2023, onwards, will not be eligible to apply for National Jewellery Awards and will be disqualified from the awards. This will be identified on best effort basis and will be highlighted to the NJA management for further action
    • The finalist determined in the Jewellery Award segment must provide self-declaration form stating the quality of the jewellery piece submitted for the awards. The draft document will be shared by the audit team post the announcement of the same. They may also choose to submit a hallmark certificate however it is not a mandatory document
    • In case the information provided in the declaration is found to be untrue, the entry will stand disqualified and the participant will be blacklisted from the NJA awards subject to the management’s discretion.
    • Finalist for each category under Jewellery segment will undergo a lab testing organized by NJA committee to certify the
    • genuineness of the piece. The finalist shall have an op􀀁on to submit an existing certificate authenticate the genuineness of the jewellery piece. The cost incurred for the lab testing shall be borne by the finalists
    • It is explicitly understood that the entry details are approved and overseen by the owner /partner/ director of the participating company
    • At the time of submitting the application, please ensure that you have provided all the necessary details. Please make a note that incomplete applications will not be accepted
    • All the supporting materials wherever necessary should be specifically attached with the entries
    • Winners of the previous editions of NJA are not eligible to participate with the winning jewellery piece/set
    • Application fees is non-refundable
    • Kindly issue the Cheque or Demand draft or NEFT or RTGS on the name of "All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council”
    • Discounts are applicable on the number of entries in your cart (i.e. 5 entries and above) and not applicable on any back dated invoices. For example, on May 20, 2023 you have successfully paid for 3 entries and subsequently, you also apply for 4 more entries, in this scenario the discounts will not be applicable. GST applicable over and above
    • In case there is a dispute with a Jewellery design, then the participant must prove that he has designed that particular Jewellery piece.
    • The decision of the jury and NJA committee will be final and binding
    • The third-party process auditor shall monitor the process of NJA 2023Awards
    • You are requested to-cooperate with the NJA Awards committee on the deadlines for submission of material/jewellery for smooth operations
    • The Jury of the NJA 2023 shall have the final authority in determining the winner of the awards. The decision of the Jury shall be final, conclusive and binding, the winner or any other person shall have no legal or any other rights to contest or dispute the decision of the jury
    • GJC shall not be legally liable for any property/person/damage/loss arising for any reason whatsoever regarding the National Jewellery Awards 2023
    • Please submit photographs of finished jewellery or sketches only. Size of photographs must be 8*10 inches only in case of hard copy submitted
    • One Jewellery piece/ set/ pair/ design can participate in one category only .In case jury comes across same design submitted in
    • multiple categories as a finalist only one entry will be considered for the grand jury round based on their discretion
    • Finalists of past three edition cannot participate with the same jewellery design submitted in the previous edition, as applicable
    • The award categories may be changed/modified/split/merged/increased or cancelled by the Jury based on the number and quality of entries received in each category. Awards management / jury may apply minimum cap for the category to be awarded to maintain high standards of Awards. This is at the discretion of Awards management / Jury, and this cannot be contested in any manner
    • In the event that no participant in a category is found to be winner worthy, the award category may be cancelled by the Jury. The decision of the Jury in this regard will be final and non-contestable
    • The Awards management will not entertain any queries in this regard * The Jewellery applied for the Awards should be commercially available
    • Meet the category requirements (General and Specific) for each category in which it is entered.
    • The category requirements are set forth in the brochure.
    • In any stage it is found that the jewellery design submitted is not original and has been copied/ used from other designs , then the entry will be disqualified from the awards basis the jury’s discretion
