• The Lucky Lakshmi Community Meet in Dubai was a unique initiative designed to explore the challenges and opportunities in the jewellery industry. Attendees participated in interactive sessions with fellow jewellers and discovered exciting, practical solutions to lead their businesses in a competitive environment.
• A B2B initiative of GJC, Chennai Abhushanam Utsav was a networking meet organized for jewellers with the objective of encouraging people from the jewellery trade to interact and forge strong business relationships. The event brought together prominent manufacturers and retailers at regional levels, thereby encouraging face-to-face interactions to promote business across various regions and boost businesses. It also allowed for a healthy exchange of opinions and views to address various challenges faced by the industry at local levels. Manufacturers and retailers interacted directly in stores to conduct business, allowing personalized showcases of collections and building business connections
• GJC organized the inaugural IDT Presents the National Jewellery Conference, supported by AKGSMA on the 7th of July, 2024 in Kochi. The event marked a significant gathering in the jewellery industry, featuring groundbreaking panel discussions and a notable address by Chief Guest Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Union Minister of Road Transport & Highway. His insights added substantial value to the discussions.
• All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) organised first of its kind one-day Gems and Jewellery Banking Summit presented by the World Gold Council presented at Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, on the 18th May 2024. The Summit was attended by leading Indian government and private bankers engaged directly or indirectly in the gold financing business. The Summit was powered by Yes Bank, Shree Kunj, Kolkata, and supported by Bangalore Refinery, Mukti Gold and Diamond, and Laxmi Diamonds India Ltd.
