Founded in 1989 by Mr. Jai Kishore Prasad, JK Silver & Co. began as a one-man venture specializing in silver jewellery and articles. With its first office in Kolkata in 1990, Mr. Prasad built strong ties across South India, supplying sought-after handcrafted silver pieces. In 1995, he expanded to Bangalore and entered the gold jewellery business in 1996. By 2004, JKS Jewels Pvt. Ltd. was established, with offices in Chennai and Mumbai to cater to top jewellers across South and West India.
